The Story Behind the Shield
TradeRunner wasn't built by an executive who has never held a pipe wrench or managed a property. It was built on a $50 pawnshop laptop by William Hunker—a mechanic, EPA Universal certified HVAC-R technician, and field craftsman with over two decades of real-world tool time.
William wasn't born with a silver spoon in his mouth. He was raised in raw poverty, living in HUD housing and surviving on food stamps. His mother battled severe addictions, making an already brutal upbringing even harder. But his foundation was anchored by a hardworking, unwavering father—a third-generation Sheet Metal Journeyman with the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local 100. From his father, William learned the value of honest labor, a relentless work ethic, and the pride of the people who keep our communities running.
For 23 years, William followed those footsteps. He started where the boots hit the dirt—pulling orders from blueprints as a sheet metal apprentice. He went on to manage maintenance across 3,000+ homes, run multi-lift automotive shops, and handle high-volume residential systems. He knows what it means to work until your knuckles bleed, and how stressful it is to keep a property safe, functional, and on budget.

As the platform grows, it will help build the Space Coast Trade Guild—a non-profit trade school right here on Florida's Space Coast, offering tuition-free training in HVAC, electrical, and structural trades, plus starter tool kits for new apprentices, so honest men and women can start a career without predatory debt.
The straight truth: the school doesn't exist yet. We're not swinging hammers on it today. What we ARE doing is laying the legal foundation—the official non-profit incorporation paperwork has been filed with the State of Florida. This isn't a slick marketing pitch; it's an active project. No smoke and mirrors—just the blueprint.
